Be sure to buy Genuine Brother toner cartridges. For the extra money, also buy the high yield version as well. Like others have posted, do not toss these as soon as the printer tells you the toner is out. They can be reset and will provide considerably longer life than Brother leads you to believe.

No leaking from these cartridges

We purchase toner for our Brother All-in-one about once every year. Obviously, some of the colors we go through faster than others, but overall, it averages to once a year. We tried the refilled cartridges and were not happy with them at all. They tended to leak and streak and cause us more down time than the savings was worth. No, we are happy with these and we aren't going back.

Reads 'out of toner' almost immediately after first use

I purchased this toner a few months ago in anticipation of needed replacement. Now that it's in the printer and I've used the machine a few times, the printer is signaling "out of toner". One would think that a mathematical impossibility, given that I've printed fewer than 200 pages of black print only (no color prints at all). But no--my Brother HL-4070CDW refuses to print another page until I replace this magenta cartridge. Unfortunately I am past the return date, and will have to buy one if I want to use the machine. Let's hope I get more out of the next cartridge...
